The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, November 26th, 1951 were approved as: read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No.- C -994, for paving Alleys in blocks 392, 393, 394, etc, and there being insufficient protest against said improvone nt, or any part thereof; I.t is: ordered that Ordinance No: B -1328 creating a Local Improvement District be passed as read :. carried, Carpenter, Burns and Huey vot.ing.aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1328, providing for the improvement of the alleys in Block 356, Bartholet's.Addition and Capitol Addition; Blocks 392:, 393, and394 ' First-Nob Hill Addition; "by grading and paving the same with asphaltic concrete placed on a gravel base;, establishing a Local Improvement District, it oviding for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. Moved by Huey, seconded byCIrpenter that Ordinance No. B-1329 providing for uses in Residence District B classification be passed as read: carried, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call, Mayor Burns not voting. ORDINANCE N0. B -13299 amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. B- 293, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE regulating and restricting the location -of trades and industries, regulating and limiting-the use of buildings and premises; and the height and size of buildings; providing for yards, courts and other open spaces; establishing districts for said purposes, and providing for a-b oard of adjustment; and repealing Ordinances Nos. B -22, B -35, 8 -43, B -51, B -71, B -126, B -147 and B- .172." . J ORDINANCE NO. B -1330, amending Section 6 of.Ordinance No. .B -239, entitled: '"AN ORDINANCE relating to health and sanitation; providing for and regulating the collection and disposal of garbage, refuse and dead animals in the City of Yakima; regulating the' operation of the City Dump and the City Incinerator; providing penalties for the violation hereof; repealing Ordinance No. A -619 and Section 103 of Ordinki ce No. A -205, and all other ordinm ces and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith." Moved by.Burns, seconded by Carpenter, t hat Ordinance No. B -1330, amending Section 6, of Ordinance No. B -239, be passed as read: carried, Carpenter, Huey and Burns voting, aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -13310 creating a special fund, to be known as the "Municipal Garbage Collection Service Fundt°; p oviding for'the payment of monies into said fund, and the purposes for-which-the same may be used. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns,-that Ordinance No. B -1331 be passed as read: carried, Burns, -Carpenter and -Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Burns, seconded by Carpenter, that the report oft he Imvestment-Committee for the purchase of investments for November 1951, be approved as follows: City Commissioners Yakima, Washington Gentlemen The following investments were purchased during the month of November: , Firemen's Relief & Pension Yakima L.I.D: 713 - Bonds •#1/15 725 - Warrant #'4848 716 - -Bonds #1/17 L.I..
