The minutes of the regular meeting of'-Monday, October 29th, 1951, and the adjouned meeting thereof were approved 'as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice to contractors for the purchase of trsffice signals.and controls for various intersections in the City of Yakima; said'bids to'be received on Monday November 19th, 1951, at 10:00 o'clock A. M.: carried,Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that J..O. White, Meat Inspector, who will reach the retirement age in December 1951, be retained for the two year period, and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to-notify the Retirement Board of such action: carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -992 providing for a domestic water system on 25th Avenue South and there being no objections to said improvement, or any part-thereof: It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1319 creating a Local Improvement District be passed as read: carried, Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO.*B -1319, providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a domestic water system, establishing a locate improvement district, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. Moved by Burns, seconded by Carpenter, that the report of the Investment Committee for investments purchased for the month of October, 1951, be approved as follows: City Commissioners Yakima,.Washington a Gentlemen: The following investments were purchased during the month of October: Cemetery Trust Yakima L.
