The minutes of the regular and adjourned meetings of Monday, October lst, 1951 were approved as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns that the City Engineer having reported the completion of the 13th. Avenue'South Curb and Gutter District L.I.D. No. 720, by the contractor, said work is hereby accepted, and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll_for.said district, and the-City Clerk insturcted to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, October 29th, 1951, at 10 :.00 o'clock A..M.. carried Burns, Huey and (Carpe rater voting aye on roll call. Moved by Huey seconded by Carpenter, that the City Engineer having reported the completion of the 5th. Avenue South and Logan Avenue Curb and Gutter District L.I.D -. No. 721 by the contractor, said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare and assessment roll for said district, and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, October 29th, 1951, at 10;00 o'clock A. M.; carried Burns, Huey and'Carpenter voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -991, WHEREAS, Local Imp ovement District x'680 has been closed, and there remains on hand in said Local Improvement D- istrict fund the sum of $5.,293,.84., for payment to the contractor; under the terms and conditions,of A memorandum agreement made and entered into by said contractor with`the City of Yakima on January .26,. 1951; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to set up a special fund for the retention of said money, until the agreement of January 26, 1951, has been performed by said contractor; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA,. That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to create a special fund, to be known as "Local Improvement District x''680 Contingency Fund*.- and to deposit, therein the sum of $5, 293..84,' and to retain said funds until released by order of the City Commission, and thereupon to pay said monies in accordance with said order. No. 712 providing for the Jefferson Avenue Irrigation District, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said assessment roll,or any part.thereof; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1304, confirming said assessment roll, and every part thereof be.passed as read: carried Burns; Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1304, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Impr ovement District No. 712 as created and established by Ordinance No. B-1218 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima, , ORDINANCE NO. B -13051 fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 686, and providing /for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof, - Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. B -1305 be passed as read :. carried Huey, Burns and .Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO B -1306, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 702, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that Ordinance No. B -1306 be passed as read; carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1307, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 707, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Huey, that Ordinance No. B -1307 be passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Ca- rpenter voting aye on roll call.
