The minutes of the r egular meeting of Monday, August 24,.1951, were approved as read. Moved by Burns, seconded by Carpenter, that the report of the Investment Committee for investments purchased during the,month of August, 1951, be approved as follows: City Commissioners. Yakima, Washington Gentlemen: The following investments were purchased during the month of August: Guaranty Yakima L.I.D. 717 - Warrant 4806 Warrant 4815 Warrant 4817 F. R. & P. Yakima L.I.D. 714 - Bonds 119 Cemetery Trust Yakima L.I.D. 699 - Bonds 17/21 Yakima L.•I.D. 706 - Bonds 1 22 Larson Library Trust Yakima L.I.D. 716 - Warrant 4816 APPROVED: INVESTMENT COMMITTEE G. W. No. 680,, and there being insufficient protest by owners of property in said district against,sa.id assessment roll or any part thereof; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1288 confirming said assessment roll, and every part thereof, be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.. ORDINANCE NO. B -1288, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement Dis- trict No. 680 as created andestablished by Ordinance No. B -1044 of the ordinances of the 'City of Yakima. Moved -by Huey, seconded by Burns, ,that this being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 715, and there being no objections to said assessment roll, or any part thereof; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1289 confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1289, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement Dis- trict No. 715 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1227 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that this 'being the time for the hearing on Res- olution No.. C- 986-providing for the construction of a sewer system on 33rd Avenue and other streets in the City of Yakima, and there :being no objections in writing or other- wise to said improvement, or any part thereof; It is--ordered that Ordinance No. B -1290 creating a local - improvement district for said improvement be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1290, providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a sewer; establishing a Local Improvement-District; providing for the method of payment therefor; and creating a special fund.
