The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Carpenter and
Huey present bn roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, -August 6, 1951, were approved as read.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that-the -City Engineer having reported the com-
pletion of the South Glenn Drive Irrigation District, L.I.D. 115, said work is hereby
accepted, and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said
district, and the 'City °Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll by pub-
lication as required by law, for Tuesday, the 4th day of September, 1951, at 10:00
o'clock A.M.,: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by"Carpenter, that the City Engineer having,reported the com-
pletion of the construction of the Mead Avenue sewer district, L.I.D. 680, said work is
hereby acc -epted and the Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said dis-
trict, and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll by public-
ation and by -inailing a like notice to each property owner as required by law; said
hearing,to be on Tuesday, September 4, 1951, at 10 :00 o'clock A.M.: carried Burns,
Carpenter -and Huey voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -986, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA,
WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to improve the lots and tracts of land
included within the following described district, by constructing pipe sewers with the
necessary wye branches, drains, manholes, flush tanks and water connections therefor;
all of said improvements to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and speci-
cations to be prepared by.the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
.The district to be served by and specially benefited by and assessed for
the above- described improvement is situate within the City of Yakima, Yakima County,
Washington, and is bounded as follows:
Beginning at the.intersection of the west line of 33rd Avenue
North with the north line of Summitview Avenue; thence westerly
along said north line 197.86 feet to the southwest corner of
Lot 5 of Rice's Plat; thence northerly along the west line of
said Lot 5 to the northwest..corner thereof; thence easterly 64
feet to she southwest corner of Lot 4, Hazelwood Addition;
thence northerly along the west line of Hazelwood Addition to
the north 'line thereof; thence easterly along said north line
extended to a point 227.94 feet, east of the easterly line of
33rd Avenue North; thence southerly and parallel with the said -
easterly "line of 33rd Avenue North to the north'line of Summit-
view-Avenue; thence westerly along said north line to the point
of beginning.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve-
ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of
the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima,
Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of . 10 o'clock A.M., on Tuesday, the 4th day of
September, 1951; which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters
relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the
method of payment for said improvement; and the City 'Clerk is hereby directed to give
due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of
acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of
notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed
against all of the property legally and properly-'assessable therefor as provided by
law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit-to the
City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all 'of the data
and other information required by law to be by him submitted.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 13th day of August, 1951.

Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that Ordinance No. B -1275, fixing the time of
delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L.I.D. 714, be passed as read: carried
Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1275, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments
levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District
No. 714, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment
of the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that Ordinance No. B -1276, fixing the time of
delinquency and prescribing form: -of bond in L.I.D. No. 706, be passed as read: carried
Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.

levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District
No. 706, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment
of the unpaid portion thereof.

and prescribing form of bo:-id in L.I.D. No. 701, be passed as read: carried Burns,
Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.

and prescribing form of bond, be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey
voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE'NO. B -1278, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments
levied for the'payment'of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District
No. 699, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment
of the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that we do now adjourn; carried Burns, Huey and
Carpenter voting aye on roll call.
