The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, June 11, 1951, and adjourned meeting thereof,, were approved as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on the petition for annexation to the City of Yakima of Lots 11 to 15, inclusive,'Block 2, and Lots 23 to- 32, Block 1, in Flags Addition, et.c., and there being no objection in writing or otherwise to said annexation, or any part thereof: It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1255, providing for said annexation, be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on-roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1255, providing for the annexation by the City of Yakima, Washington of certain property contiguous to the present boundaries of said City. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday,•June 20, 1951, at 10 o'clock A.M.: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20,-1951 The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Huey and Carpenter present on roll call. Moved by Huey, seconded by- Burns, tnat.Ordinance No. B -1256, providing for traffic reg- ulations pastschools and public playgrounds, be passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1266; amending Section 39 -(b) 2, of Ordinance No.'B -131, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their incidents upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers, and duties of officers and others in relation thereto, defining offenses, providing penalties and repealing certain ordinances concerned with or relating to the subject matter of this ordinance, and declaring an emergency. "; as amended by Ordinance No. B -23B; and declaring an emergency. Moved by Carpenter, seconded by Burns, that we do now adjourn carried Burns, `Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
