The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Carpenter and
Huey present on roll call.
On account of the absence of Mayor Burns the regular meeting of Monday, March 19, 1951,
was postponed until the above date.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 12, .1951, were approved as read.
RESOLUTION NO. -C -966, WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Commission of the City of
Yakima, part of the public funds of the ,City should be deposited in the East Side Branch
of the West Side National Bank of Yakima, Washington; now, therefore,
BE IT .RESOLVED BY TIE 'CITY !COMMISSION OF THE (CITY OF YAKIMA;
That the East Side Branch of the West Side National Bank of
Yakima, Yakima, Washington, be, and it is hereby selected as one of the banks of the
City of Yakima, and as the depository for funds of the City of Yakima; which may be
withdrawn on checks signed in the name of the City of'Yakima by Gladys H. Richter,
Treasurer, who.is authorized to issue checks payable by the City of Yakima; and all
such checks shall be honored by the bank and charged to the account of the City of
Yakima. Endorsements for deposit may be made by rubber stamp, and shall bind the
City of Yakima to the same effect asirthough signed by said Treasurer. This authority
shall continue in force until notice' writing of its revocation shall be given to and
received by the bank.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the person herein authorized to act
with respect to said account, is empowered on behalf of the City of Yakima to execute
said bank signature card, binding-the City of Yakima to the rules and regulations of
said bank governing checking accounts; and to any changes, modifications or additions
thereto.
A copy of this Resolution shall be forthwith delivered, to the
manager in charge of said bank.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY - COMMISSION this 20th day of March, 1951.

posal of any kind of fresh.-or'

passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1231, amending Sections 1 and 17 of Ordinance No. A -376, entitled:
"AN-- ,ORDINAN=CE regulating the keeping, selling, and disposal of meats and fish; pro=
viding for a license therefor, and penalties for violations thereof; and declaring an
emergency." as amended by Ordinance No. B -209; and declaring an emergency.
