Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that the City Engineer having reported the completion of the Pacific Avenue Paving District, L.I.D. No. 654, with the exception of one small piece of curb. and .39 square feet of concrete sidewalk and recommending that the contractor J.M. DeBlasio be required to deposit $100.UO with the City !Clerk as a gurantee that the work will be finished as soon as weather conditions permit, is hereby accepted and recommendation granted: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call -. RESOLUTION NO..0 -807, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WN: That•it is its intention to improve West Yakima Avenue between North 12th Avenue and Hall Avenue by removing curb and gutter, widening pavement 6 feet, and constructing.storm sewer on the north side of Yakima A venue, all of said improve- ment to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be pre- pared by the City Engineer and filed with the City (Clerk. The district to be served by and assessed for the above describ improvement is situate in Yakima "County, Washington, and described as follows, to -wit: Lots 19, 20, 21 and the-West 25 feet of Lot 22, Nob Hill Addition to City of Yakima, Wash- ington. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objections, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the !City of Yakima, Yakima !County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M... on Monday the 27th day of December, 1948, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment for said improvement; and the City =Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement, including engineering, inspection, advertising, publication of notices., and all other expenses incident there- to, shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above described, except the cost of the Storm Sewer which is to be paid by the City of Yakima; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. BUCK Mayor Moved by C lark, seconded by Bishop that Resolution No. C -807 be adopted as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll callo RESOLUTION NO. 1C -808, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WN.: That it is its intention to improve the following streets, by constructing concrete curbs and gutters, all of said improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk: 11th Avenue South, Pleasant Avenue, 12th Avenue South, 13th Avenue South, 14th Avenue South, 15th Avenue South, the East side of 16th Avenue South and the West side of 10th Avenue South, all between Lenox Avenue and Mead Avenue.., Queen Avenue between Viola Avenue and Mead Avenue; Hamm Avenue between Pleasant Avenue and 14th Avenue South; Prasch Avenue between 11th Avenue South and 16th Avenue South; Viola Avenue between 10th Avenue South and 16th Avenue South; Logan Avenue between 10th Avenue South and 12th Avenue South; Logan Avenue be- tween 13th Avenue South and 16th Avenue South. The district to be served by and assessed for the above describ improvement is situate in Yakima County, Washington, and described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of Lenox Avenue and 10th Avenue South, thence southerly along 10th Avenue South to Mead Avenue, thence westerly along Mead Avenue to 16th Avenue South, thence northerly along 16th Avenue South to; Lenox Avenue, thence easterly along Lenox Avenue to the point of beginning. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to.appear and present such objections, if any, at a meeting of the City (Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the {City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M.., on Monday the 17th day of January, 1949, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment for said improvement; and the ,,City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the..intention to make -the aforesaid .impro,vemente ,The cost and expense of. said improvement, .including the cost of acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted.
