ADJOURNED MEETING, SEPTEMBER 13, 1957, 10:00 A.M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Alderson, Commissioner Schutt
present on,roll call. Mathews absent.
Moved by Schutt, seconded by Alderson that Resolution No. C -1520 providing for the'
transfer of $700.00 from the Miscellaneous General Government 1957 Budget to the
Engineering Department be passed as read, carried, Alderson and Schutt voting aye.on
roll call. Mathews absent.
RESOLUTION NO. C -15202 A RESOLUTION providing for the transfer of funds within the
current expense fund of the 1957 Budget.
WHEREAS, a. surplus exists in the special election expense item
of the Miscellaneous General Government Category of the Current Expense fund while no
funds exist for travel expenses in the Engineering Department Budget for 1957; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the best interests of
the City to make certain transfers within the 1957 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the action contemplated herein is authorized by RCW
35.33.1209 NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That $700.00 be and the same is hereby transferred from the
Special Election Expense Item of the Miscellaneous General Government category of the
Current Expense Fund to the Travel Expenses Item in the Engineering Department approp-
riation in the Current Expense Fund, all items being within the Maintenance and Operatioi
classification of said fund, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to make the
aforementioned transfers as provided for herein.

transfer of $1,000.00 from the City Hall 1957 Budget to the Fire Department 1957 Budget
be passed as read: carried, Alderson and Schutt voting aye on roll call. Mathews absent.
RESOLUTION NO. C- 15:21, A RESOLUTION providing for the transfer of funds within the
Current Expense Fund of the 1957 Budget.
WHEREAS, a surplus exists in the Sherwood Roberts Building
repairs item of the City Hall appropriation for 1957, while no funds are now available
for the purchase of a surplus fire crash truck by the Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the best interests of
the City to make a certain transfer of funds within the Current Expense Fund of the
1957 Budget, and
WHEREAS, the action contemplated herein is authorized by RCW
35.33.120, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAK:IMA:
That $1,000.00 be and the same is hereby transferred from the
Sherwood Roberts Building Repairs item of the City Hall appropriation to the fire crash
Truck item of the Fire Department Budget, all within the "Capital Outlay" classification
of the Current Expense Fund, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to make the
aforementioned transfer as provided for herein.
