Schutt absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of March 4, 1957 were approved as read. This being the time for receiving and considering bids for the sale of one Stutz Pumper now owned by the Fire Department, the following bids were received: Sheppardis Camera Shop $128.50 Wholesale Distributors Portland 161.00 Russell Duffield, Rt. h, Moxee 165.00 It was moved by Mathews, seconded by Alderson, that these bids be referred to the Chief of the Fire Department for consideration and recommendation: carried, Alderson and Mathews voting aye on roll call. Schutt absent. CD This being the time for receiving bids for liability insurance for automotive equipment for the City of Yakima - Bodily Injury $100,0001$300,000, Property Damage $10,000.00 covering non - ownership and Hired car endorsement and also fire and theft on city licensed and unlicensed vehicles, bids were received from the following companies: Goldade Insurance Agency Ackley - Alvestad Insurance Agency Farmers Insurance Group Sherwood & Roberts - Yakima, Inc. Moved by Alderson, seconded by Mathews, that said bids be taken under advisement and award made at a later date: carried, Alderson and Mathews voting aye on roll call. Schutt absent. This being the time for receiving bids'. for the sale and removal of municipally owned property at the Yakima Airport, namely one complete dwelling unit, to be sold "as is" and "where is" and there being only one bid received from Mr. W. H. Hornbuckle of 715 North 15th Street, Yakima, it was moved by Mathews, seconded by Alderson that this bid be taken under advisement and awarded at a later date: carried, Alderson and Mathews voting aye on roll call. Bids having been received March 4, 1957 for the construction of the 36th Avenue South; and Swan Tracts Irrigation District, being L.I.D. 852 and the City Engineer reporting that said bids exceeded his estimate and recommending that all bids be rejected and that the plans and specifications be modified to reduce the cost of the project, and that the job be re- advertised, it was moved by Mathews, seconded by Alderson that said bids be rejected and the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized to readvertise according to,the new specifications prepared by the City Engineer, said bids to be received on or before March 25, 1957 at the hour of 10 a.m.: carried, Alderson and Mathews voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 1957, 2 :00 P.M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Alderson, Commissioner Schutt present on roll call. Commissioner Mathews and Assistant Attorney Loy absent. Moved by Schutt, seconded by Alderson that Ordinance No. B -2005 amending Ordinance No. B -293, being the zoning ordinance regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries in the City of Yakima, said ordinance providing for the establishment of an Airport Industrial District, be passed as-read: carried, Alderson and Schutt voting aye on roll call. Mathews absent. ORDINANCE NO. B -2005, AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No.'B -293, being an ordinance regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries; regulating the limits the use of building and premises; and the height and size of buildings; providing for yards,-.courts and other open spaces; establishing districts for said purposes, and providing for a Board of Adjustment. Moved by Alderson, seconded by Schutt that we do now adjourn to meet again in regular session at the hour of 10:00 otclock A.M. on Monday, March 18, 1957: carried, Alderson and Schutt voting aye on roll call.
