The minutes of the regular meeting of December 10, 1956, were approved as read. This being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll covering L.I.D. No. 828 being the alley paving in Blocks 89 and 35 City and others and there being no objections i.n writing.or otherwise, it was MOVED by Mathews, seconded by Schutt that Ordinance No. B -1969 confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof, be passed as read: carried, Alderson, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roll call. yORDINANCE NO. B -1969, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 828 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1767 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima. This being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll covering L.I.D. No. 841 being a curb, gutter and suff acing district in Lots 1 to 13 Chestnut Park and there being n0 objections in writi.ng'or otherwise, it was MOVED by Mathews, seconded by Schutt that Ordinance No. B -1970 confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof, be passed as read: carried, Alderson, Schutt and Mathews voting, aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1970, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No.�841 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1879 of the Ordin- an.ces of -the City of Yakima. The City Engineer having reported the completion of Westover Terrace Sewer, being L.I.D. 845, by the contractor, it was MOVED by Mathews, seconded by Alderson that said work be accepted and the City Engineer instructed to prepare the assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on said assessment roll for the hour of 10 o'clock a.m. on Monday the 14th day of January, 1957: carried, Alderson, Schl.tt and Mathews voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mathews, seconded by Schutt that Ordinance No. B -1971, fixing the time of de- linquency and prescribing the form of bonds for L.I.D. 818, being Lots 1 to 33, inc., Westview Addition Curb & Gutter District, be _passed as read:_ carried, Alderson, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1971, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 818, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Mathews, seconded by Schutt that Ordinance No. B -1972 fixing the time of de- li-nquency and prescribing the form of bonds for L.I.D. No. 838, being Burrows Suburban Tracts Domestic Water District, be passed as read: carried, Alderson, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. ADJOURNED MEETING., MONDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1956, 3 O'CLOCK P.M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Alderson, Commissioners Schutt and Mathews and Assistant Attorney Loy present on roll call. Bids having been received on December 10, 10.56 for the purchase of two new cars for the Police Department, it was MOVED by Alderson, seconded by Mathews that the bid of Bell Wyman Company be accepted as the lowest and best bid: carried, Alderson_, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roll call.. Moved by Tfings, seconded by Schutt that the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized to call for erzals for the Irrigation Department according to specifications on file.' with the City Clerk, bids to be received on or before-18? o'clock, p.m. on the 7th day of January, 1957: carried, Alderson, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mathews, seconded by Schutt that the following bond form be adopted as a uniform bond for the heating installers in accordance with Ordinance No. B -1884 as amended by B -1951; carried, Alderson, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roll call. WHEREAS, the above bounden Principal has been granted a license to act as a heating installer in Section 4 Ordinance No. B- 1881-1. dated May 21, 1956 accordancev,with of as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. B -1951 dated October 29, 1956, of the City of Yakima. NOW, THEREFORE, the Condition of this Obligation,is Such, that if the above Principal shall indemnify and save harmless the CITY OF YAKIMA against loss to which the CITY OF YAKIMA may be subject by reason of said Principalts breach of any ordinance, rule or regulation relating to the above described license..to the City of Yakima; that the licensee and his agents shall fully comply with all provisions of law relating 1 1 B 1 DECEM"RER ,17, 1956 to installations of heating appliances, dnd that any person injured by failure to comply therewith may have a right of action on said bond in his own names, and that the principal and sureties shall pay all judgments recovered against the principal for any violation of or failure to comply with said provisions of law; provided that such action must be commenced within one (1) year after completion of the work. PROVIDED FURTHER, that the total and aggregate liability of the surety under this bond shall in no event exceed the sum of 1,000.00, then this obligation shall be null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and. effect. AND PROVIDED FURTHER, this obligation may be cancelled by said surety by giving thirty (30) 'days' notice in writing of its intention so to do to said CITY OF YAKIMA and the said Surety shall be relieved of any further liability under this bond thirty (30 days after receipt of said notice by the said CITY OF YAKIMA. Moved by Mathews, seconded by Schutt that an ordinance providing for the.expenditure of funds not provided for in the 1956 budget for the payment of pensions and sick bene- fits in the Police-Relief and Pension Fund in the amount $8,873.35 and $6,300.00 for auto parts in the Shop Fund, was introduced and 'read byethe City Clerk, same -to be read again and passed at the next regular meeting of the City Comnission:on December 24, 1956. 116ved by Schutt, seconded by Mathews that Resolution No. C -1442 transfering funds with in the Current Expense budget for 1956, said expenditures being fully itemized in said Resolution, be passed as read: carried, Alderson, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roll call; RESOLUTION NO. C -1442, A RESOLUTION providing for the transfer of funds within the current expense fund; WHEREAS, a surplus of funds exists in the current expense fund, with reference to some items, while a shortage exists in-other items in that fund, and WIIEREAS, the City Commission deems it for the best interests of the city to make certain transfers within the current expense fund; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION: Section 1.
