JULY 9, 1956
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Behnke, Commissioners Schutt and
Mathews and the City Attorney, Kenneth Hawkins present on roll call.
Moved by Mathews, seconded by Schutt that the following appointments be made in accord-
ance with Ordinance No. B -1899, passed June 25, 1956, increasing the number of members
serving on the Planning Commission to 10 and fixing °theterm to�,be served as 6 year:
John White, E. Bernard Wine,JoeK.Alderson, and Herbert Frank each to serve on the
Planning Commission for a six year term or until their successor is duly appointed:
carried, Behnke, Schutt and Mathews voting aye on roil call.
Moved by Schutt, seconded by Mathews that we do now adjourn to convene again on
Wednesday, July 11, 1956 at the hour of 10 o'clock a..m: carried, Behnke, Schutt and
Mathews voting aye on roll call.

The minutes of the meeting of July 2,. 1956 and of Monday, July 9, 1956 were read.
Correction inserting the letter "k" with the name Joe Alderson was made and the
minutes were approved as read.
The City Engineer having reported the completion of North Second Street Curb and
Gutter Surfacing District, L.I.D. No. 825, said work is hereby accepted and the City
Engineer instructed to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk
authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll for August 6, 1956 at the hour of
10 o'clock A.M: "carried, Behnke and Schutt voting aye on roll call. Mathews absent.
The City Treasurer presented a list of investments which were purchased during the
month of June, investments being as follows:
