The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 30, 1956 and adjourned meeting thereof, were approved as read. This being the time for,the hearing on,Resolution No. C -1329, providing for the const- ruction of a domestic water system on 5th Avenue South and other property in said dis-- triet more particularly described in said resolution, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement, or any part.thereof; it was MOVED by Huey, seconded by Huza that Ordinance No. 3-1836, creating L.I.D. No. 833, be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -18369 AN. ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City,of Yakima by the construction of a.domestic water system, establishing a local im- provement district, providing for.the method of payment therefor, and creating a specie: fund. Moved b Huza, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. 3-1837, providing for an additional sum of 1467.30 for maintenance and operation in Signal Maintenance in the Fire Depart- ment, and the following additional sums for the Garage Department: General supplies and expenses, $107.55; Coal and Fuel, $60.92; Industrial Insurance and Medical Aid, $73.01; and that said sums are available for transfer.from the Salary item of Extra labor of said Garage Department; also the following additional sums are needed for the following items of the Airport: Retirement funds' $156.50;. General expenses, $327.55; Office sup- plies, $54.65; Building Maintenance,$548.44, all of which sums are available for trans- fer from the Capital Outlay item, be passed as read :' carried,'Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1837, AN ORDINANCE providing for the transfer of funds from certain items budgeted for certain departments of the City of Yakima to other budgeted items of said departments for the calendar year 1955, and declaring an emergency. Moved by Huey, seconded by Huza that Ordinance No..B- 1838,:f axing the time of delis and providing for the form of bonds in L.I.D. No. 820, be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1838, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 820, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Huza,,seconded by Huey that ,Ordinance_No. B- 1839,f ixing the time of delinquency of installments and providing for the form of bond in L.I.D. No. 816, be passed as read< carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1839, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time-of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 816, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. B -1841, AN.ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 811, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by- Huza, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. 3-1842, amending Ordinance No. B- 1627, providing for the, acquisition by condemnation proceedings or purchase of real property for the Yakima Municipal Airport, etc., be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye one roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1842, AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -1627 entitled "AN ORDINAN providing for the acquisition by condemnation proceedings or purchase of real property f ©r the enlargement and improvement of the Yakima Municipal.Airport, providing for the method of payment therefor, and declaring an emergency", and adding thereto certain additional provisions with reference to construction of roads and fences, on said prop- erty, and declaring an emergency. 'Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey that Resolution No. C -1337, providing for the city printing for the year 1956, and fixing the time for receiving bids therefor for Monday, February 20, 1956 at 10 o'clock a.m., be adopted as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -1337, WHEREAS, by ordinance, it is provided that on the first Monday in February of each year, the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, shall pass a resolution prescribing the form of contract--for the city advertising for the en suing year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission that th form of contract for the city printing for the ensuing year shall be in substantially the form hereto attached and made a part hereof, and City Clerk, is hereby directed to give notice for sealed proposals for a contract for doing the city advertising for the 6 rep j FEBRUARY 6,. 1956 ensuing year by publishing the same for two: consecutive issues in the newspaper doing the city printing, which notice shall contain a.general statement-of the terms of the contract to be let, together with the time and place when said bids will be opened; and providing that any and all bids may be rejected. RESOLUTION NO. C -1338, WHEREAS, the following departments of the City of Yakima during the calendar year 1955 have overspent certain items budgeted for said departments and sufficient funds therefor are available from certain other items budgeted for said de- partments, and it having been ascertained that said sums will not be entirely used for said items; now-, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY.OF YAKIMA: That the following-respective sums budgeted for said items of tho following named respective departments of said city in 1955, are hereby transferred, de- ducted and added as follows: CITY COMMISSION: Deduct $45,99 from -Dues & Conventions and add $6.4o to Miscellaneous and $39059 to Printing. CITY HALL: Deduct $202,61 from Building Maintenance and add $22.93 to Telephones and $179.68 to Water, Lights &- Heat,. LEGAL DEPARTMENT: Deduct $43.85 from Supreme Court Expense and add to General Supplies. PARKING METERS:. Deduct $4.82 from Gas, Oil & Grease and add to Office Supplies. TAHOMA CEMETERY: Deduct $130.81 from Industrial Insurance and add $42.9O,to Business.Tax, $12060 to Telephone and $75.31 to Retirement Fund, FIREMEN'S RELIEF & PENSION: Deduct $79.47 from Sickness and Health Benefits and add to Retirement.Pensions. That the expenditure of said funds for said .purposes and in the manner hereinabove mentioned is hereby fully and in all respects authorized and approved, and the appropriate city officials are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to do any and all things necessary or proper for carrying out this resolution, ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 6th day. of February, 1956. RESOLUTION NO. C -1339, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized on behalf of said city to execute that certain memorandum of agreement dated February 6, 1956, between the City of Yakima, a municipal corporation, First Party, and Yakima School District No, 7, Second Party, for the construction of a sewer.line to furnish sewer service to the nei high school and junior high school to be constructed by said School District on Tieton Drive in the vicinity of 2nd Avenue South, subject to the terms and conditions as more fully provided in said agreement, a copy thereof being attached.hereto;.and the same is hereby fully and in all respects approved.
