A RESOLUTION concerning employee compensation. authorizing the City Manager to grant
a one -time payment of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000 00), and one
additional personal holiday for all non - represented City employees for
calendar year 2013.
WHEREAS, the City Manager met with members of the non - represented Management
Group, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration, the City Manager has determined that in exchange
for the unrepresented employees' agreement to waive any PACA increases for calendar year
2013 it be in the best interest of the City to authorize a one -time payment of One Thousand
Dollars ($1,000 00) in additional compensation, taxable at the same rate as regular
compensation, together with one additional personal holiday, to each current non - represented
employee employed with the City on August 6, 2013
WHEREAS, employees receiving the one additional personal holiday must use the
additional personal holiday by December 31't of calendar year 2013 or it will be forfeited, now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized to grant a one -time
payment of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) and one additional personal holiday to each
current non - represented employee employed with the City on August 6, 2013, for calendar year
2013.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 6th day of August, 2013.
