RESOLUTION NO. R -2013-
A RESOLUTION setting the time and place for a public hearing on August 20, 2013 at 7:00
PM in the City of Yakima Council Chambers to hear from the public
regarding smoking at special events, smoking in parks and smoking near
playgrounds.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima has had complaints about smoking in public places; and
WHEREAS, The City Council wishes to hear from the public on the issues of smoking in
various public places, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That issues regarding smoking in various public places shall be presented for hearing
and determination on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the City of Yakima, at Yakima City Hall, Yakima, Washington, or as soon
thereafter as the same may be heard, and that notice of such hearing be given as approved by
law.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 6th day of August, 2013.
