She also requested truck prohibition on Arlington Street. Although we can't totally prohibit trucks from using Arlington Street between 53 Avenue and 56 Avenue, we can limit the size and weight of the trucks legally allowed to drive on the road. The Traffic Operations Division will install 10 Ton Gross Vehicle Weight limits. This weight limit allows smaller delivery trucks but prohibits any vehicle that requires a commercial driver's license to operate unless the vehicle is making a delivery or pickup in the immediate area. A review of the conditions at 56 and Arlington does not warrant the need for an all -way stop. Each leg of Arlington is stopped control now with 56 Avenue given the right -of- way. The intersection does not meet any warrant called for in the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) that the city is obliged to follow. The warrants specify minimum volume and accident criteria for all -way stop installations, none are met at this intersection.
