A RESOLUTION setting the time and place for a public hearing on February 5, 2013 at
7:00 PM in the City of Yakima Council Chambers to hear from the public
on the Transportation Benefit District's Second Amended Project List.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima created a Transportation Benefit District February 7,
2012 as authorized by RCW 35.21.225 and governed by the provisions of Chapter 36.73 RCW;
and _
WHEREAS, the TBD is considering updating the current project list; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held prior to the amending the project list, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA:
That said Transportation Benefit District's Second Amended Project List shall be
presented for hearing and determination on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the hour of 7:00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers of the City of Yakima, at Yakima City Hall, Yakima, Washington, or as
soon thereafter as the same may be heard, and that notice of such hearing be given as
approved by law.
ADOPTED BY THE TRANSPORTATION BUSINESS DISTRICT this 15th day of
January, 2013.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The City of Yakima created a Transportation Benefit District February 7, 2012. Included in
the legislation was a project list that was subsequently amended and based on a 5 year
funding source. Council has placed before the citizens ballot measure for $30 annual
vehicle license fee for 10 years. This project list is modified to accurately reflect the projects
to be funded if the ballot measure passes.
