Recognition of retiring police officers James Belton and James Wentz
Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion
without discussion A citizen or Council member may request to remove an item from the
Consent Agenda and, if approved, it will be placed on the regular agenda for discussion and
consideration.

A. Resolution authorizina an Interlocal Aareement.with the City of Selah for
public transportation services in the city of Selah
B. Resolution authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with the Yakima
Valley Basketball Officials Association (YVBOA) for Officiating Services
during the 2013 Basketball Season
5. Audience Participation
Community members are invited to address items that are not listed on the regular business
meeting agenda. A guideline of three (3) minutes per speaker is in place in order to allow as
much opportunity as possible for audience participation. A speaker's time may be extended at
the discretion of the Mayor'and /or the consensus or vote of the Council. Written
communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged.

6. Resolution setting the time and place for a public hearing on February 5, 2013 at
7:00 PM in the City of Yakima Council Chambers to hear from the public on the
Transportation Benefit District's Second Amended Project List
7. Resolution approving Proposition to amend Article VII Section 2 of the City of
Yakima Charter requiring affirmative vote of at least five City Council members to
approve any new councilmanic tax and authorizing submission of Proposition for
vote of the people on special election on April 23 2013
8. Resolution approving Agreement for Air Service Development and Consulting_
Services with Airplanners, LLC.
9. Adjournment
The next meeting will be a Council Study Session on January 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the
Council Chambers.

views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed

views of this, or any other speaker.
