SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
In December 2012, the City Council approved a contract with Jim Justin Government Relations
Consulting for state legislative and administrative advocacy services. Since then, Jim has been
making progress in pursuing the City Council's 2013 State Legislative and Administrative Priorities in
Olympia. On January 8th, Jim will introduce himself to the full City Council and will make a
presentation regarding his recommended approach to achieving success regarding the Council's
adopted 2013 State Legislative and Administrative Priorities Jim's presentation will include
discussion of issues he anticipates arising during the 2013 session of the Washington State
Legislature and how the City Council can be involved in pursuing its priorities in Olympia.
