SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Unit citation awarded to responding crews for their exemplary performance in an extreme
fire fighting circumstance. The crew spent themselves physically and selflessly in hazardous
conditions and provided vital information to in- coming fire apparatus. Crews acted without
hesitation and employed unique tactics that resulted in a man's life being saved.

E93 arrived with Lt. cr efre, Firefighter Albrecht awd Firefighter H opl1iws. Lt. Dexter a shed - for asststawoe
from E93 bt performlwg a wiwdow cut uslwg a chatwsaw. Firefighter Itophiws cut the wall uwder the
wtwdow out from the sill to the floor. This made a Large opewlwg through which Lt. Dexter awd Flrefi.ghter
FfeLLewell were able to extricate the victim.
