CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON
ADJOURNED MEETING
• The City Council met on this date at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn.
In attendance were Mayor Pat Berndt and Council Members Henry
Beauchamp, Ernie Berger, Lynn Buchanan, and Bernard Sims. Council
Members Clarence Barnett and John Klingele were absent and excused.
Also present were Council Member -Elect John Puccinelli, City
Manager Dick Zais, Assistant City Manager Glenn Rice, and
Administrative Assistant Marketa Oliver. Washington State
Legislators present from the 14th District were Senator Alex
Deccio, Representative Mary Skinner, and Representative James
Clements. Representing the Association of Washington Cities (AWC)
were Stan Finkelstein and Jim Justin.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss City of Yakima 1996
Legislative Priorities with area legislators and AWC
representatives. The meeting adjourned at the hour of 8:30 p.m.
