ITEM TITLE: Set date of March 2, 2021 for a Public Hearing regarding surplus of
a utility easement

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Setting the time and place for a public hearing on March 2, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the City of
Yakima City Council Chambers to hear from the public on the proposed surplus of the City's
easement over and through real property located in the NW 1/4 of the SE '/4 of Section 9,
Township 13 North, Range 18 East, W.M., and acquired for utility purposes.
The City of Yakima owns an easement right over and through real property for the original
purpose of installing and maintaining a pipeline for irrigation water use. The City of Yakima
Water/Irrigation Division has determined it has no further need for the property nor is it needed to
provide continued public utility service.
