Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion
without discussion. A citizen or Council member may request to remove an item from the
Consent Agenda and, if approved, it will be placed on the regular agenda for discussion and
consideration
A. Resolution authorizing Radio Console Purchase Agreement.
B. First reading of Ordinance amending the 2012 Budget and making
appropriations in the 477 - Domestic Water Improvement fund to repair Kissel
well motor and panel (no action required at this meeting; second reading
scheduled October 16, 2012).
5. Audience Participation
Community members are invited to address items that are not listed on the regular business
meeting agenda A guideline of three (3) minutes per speaker is in place in order to allow as
much opportunity as possible for audience participation. A speaker's time may be extended at
the discretion of the Mayor and /or the consensus or vote of the Council. Written
communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
6. Closed Record Public Hearing and Ordinance to consider the City of Yakima
Planning Commission's recommendation on text amendments to the City of
Yakima's Urban Area Zoning Ordinance Title 15.
7. Closed Record Public Hearing and Ordinance on the 2012 Comprehensive Plan
Amendments and Rezones.
CITY MANAGER. REPORTS
8. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute all applicable amendments to
extend the current contract with Maqallan Consultancy through the end of 2012.
9. Resolution adopting the Managed Competition structured process as outlined in
the Managed Competition Guide.
10. Adjournment
The next meeting is a Council Study Session on October 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the
Council Chambers.
