Open Discussion for the Good of the Order Councilmember Funk stated she will not be running for Council next year, as she will be moving to California for familial reasons. A. Resolution approving extension of Mayoral Proclamation declaring emergency and order, if the Mayor issues a Proclamation extending the civil emergency proclamation and order due to COVID-19 The City Clerk read the resolution by title only. MOTION: Cousens moved and Macias seconded to adopt the resolution. The motion carried by unanimous vote, Lund and White absent. RESOLUTION NO. R-2020-133,A RESOLUTION extending the Mayor's Proclamation of Civil Emergency and Order regarding a state of emergency in the City of Yakima due to the coronavirus disease 2019 ("COVID-19"). B. Coronavirus (COVID-19) update City Manager Harrison provided an update on COVID-19's effect on the City.Additionally, he reported on a request from Yakima Valley Conference of Government's to send a letter to the Governor regarding recent COVID restrictions, which Council took no action on. Appoint Council liaison to the Community Integration Committee It was Council consensus to appoint Councilmember Macias as liaison to the Community Integration Committee and [|uunci|membar Funk ou the alternate. 4. CwmaemtAgemda Mayor Byers referred to the items placed on the Consent Agenda, questioning whether there were any additions or deletions from Council members present. There were no changes.
