SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
La Casa Hogar is a local non - profit agency which provides services to low- income families
in the community. Playground equipment valued at approximately Three Thousand Dollars
($3,000) was recently stolen from La Casa Hogar's property leaving the organization unable
to meet the needs of children seeking services at the agency. City Council believes it would
benefit the community to assist La Casa Hogar with a contribution for the purpose of
replacing the stolen playground equipment. The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to
provide La Casa Hogar up to One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500) from the non-
federal funds available from ONDS to be applied toward the purchase of replacement
