Council Members present: Chair Bill Lover, Kathy Coffey
Staff: Michael Morales, Joan Davenport, Mark Kunkler, Archie Matthews
Proposed Zoning Amendments: Joan Davenport gave a summary of the proposed
zoning amendments that the Yakima planning Commission will consider at a public hearing .
on October 19. The projected date for Council consideration is November 15.
Update on Medical Marijuana Ordinance: Mark Kunkler reviewed a draft ordinance that
would amend Title 15 of the Yakima Municipal Code. A presentation for the full Council is .
on the October 18 Council agenda. After Council consideration it will go to the Yakima
Planning Commission and then back to the full Council for final approval.
