ITEM TITLE: Set dates of November 2 and 17, 2020, for public hearings on the
2021 Preliminary Budget for the City of Yakima

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Set date of November 2, 2020 for a public hearing on the 2021 Preliminary Budget for the City of
Yakima with a second public hearing on November 17, 2020. The purpose of the Public
Hearings is to accept input, comments, and/or questions from community members and other
affected parties regarding the proposed 2021 Budget.
*Note: Council business meetings are held in Council Chambers in City Hall; the business
meetings commence at 5:30 pm; however, the public hearings begin at 6:00 p.m. or soon
thereafter. The 2021 Preliminary Budget was posted on the City's website on October 1, 2020.
