ITEM TITLE: Set August 16, 2011, as the date for a public meeting to consider final plat
approval for Apple Blossom Phase VII Subdivision.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Apple Blossom Phase VII is a three lot subdivision of approximately 25,269 acres submitted,
and developed by United Builders of Yakima Washington. The property is located at 2140
South 64 Avenue within the (R -1) Single - Family Residential zoning district. The applicant at •
the time of public meeting will have completed or bonded for all necessary public improvements
as required by the conditions of approval for this Final Plat. As submitted, this plat complies
with the requirements of the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance,
41110 Development Standards Ordinance and Traffic Concurrency Ordinance.
On April 7, 2011, the Hearing Examiner issued his written recommendation for approval of this
application subject to conditions.

BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:. The Hearing Examiner
recommended approval of the Plat of Apple Blossom Phase VII, on April 7, 2011, and the
Yakima City Council approved the previously mentioned preliminary plat on May 3, 2011.
