Corporation - Project SW2496 Drainage Improvement District
(DID) CIPP Rehabilitation

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City project SW2496 provided for cured in place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of DID pipelines.
The City contracted with Michels Corporation for the construction of approximately 3,990 LF of
10" and 12" DID pipelines utilizing CIPP, pipe cleaning, and video inspection.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be
accepted. A final payment of$10,871.97 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Michels
Corporation for the completion of the rehabilitation work.

Contract Cost with tax: $235,269.41
Contract Cost less tax: $217,439
Retainage Due (5% of Contract Cost less tax): $10,871.97
The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs.
City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
