observed in hundreds of cities across the "united States to celebrate its meaning of spreading
neighborly Cove to all humanity; and
'EcEAS, the vision of"cDo Something Goodfor dour Weigh for Day"is for millions
of Americans across the nation to spread love and acts of kindness throughout their
neighborhoods; and
'EcEAS, in 2009,founder Starr Valentino began walking the streets handing out
gs, cards, t-shirts, and ribbons—setting an example by giving his time and talents in the
community displaying random acts of kindness; and
WITEREAS, "cDo Something Goodfor dour Neighbor Day"was first declared on 1May
16, 2011; and
'EcEAS, (Yakima joins several-hundred cities across the nation in celebrating the
tenth anniversary of"cDo Something Goodfor dour Sleigh for Day, "
WOW t flERETOKE, I, Patricia Byers, Wiayor of the City of(Yakima and on behalf of
the City Council-hereby proclaim Wfay 16, 2020 as
"Do Something Goodfor Tour Neighbor Day"
in the City of(Yakima and encourage all-residents to participate in acts of kindness throughout
all-(Yakima neighborhoods.
