Sheffield, P.E., Chief Engineer 576-6797 SUMMARY EXPLANATION: Joseph Sullivan requested that an underground power line be installed from an existing power pole to the eastern property line of a city -owned parcel located in the vicinity of Scenic Drive and North Scenic Drive for the purpose of providing power to parcels east of the city -owned parcel. Such power lines need to be located within a recorded power line utility easement. Since the land being crossed belongs to the City, Council authorization is required to permit the City Manager to execute the necessary easement document. The easement is from the existing power pole to the east property line (6 feet), and would be 10 feet in width. PacifiCorp has agreed to compensate the City the fair market value for the easement.
