SUMMARY EXPLANATION -
The Police Department owns one Belgian Malinois K 9 named Lektor who after seven and a half
years of service and 194 criminal apprehensions is being retired from service Sgt. Mike Henne
has been Lektor's handler for the dog's entire career
We believe it is in the best interest of the City and in Lektor's best interest to sell him to his
handler, Sgt. Mike Henne, for the sum of $1 Lektor is already a part of Sgt. Henne's family,
having lived with him for seven and a half years, and it seems proper and fitting to continue that
relationship
