ITEM TITLE: Yakima Humane Society follow-up information

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Sheryl Haga, Yakima Humane Society Director, had previously presented data for the year 2019
related to animal control requests addressed in the City of Yakima. Council requested additional
information from the Humane Society. The request was for data on how many at-large contacts
officers are making where they do not issue a citation, animals returned to the owner, and for data
showing resident satisfaction with the performance of animal control.After further review, the
Humane Society determined that the kinds of information requested by Councilmember Funk are
not able to be extracted from the tracking software system.
