Council present: Byers, Cousens and White Staff present: Sonya Claar Tee, City Clerk and Communications and Public Affairs Manager Randy Beehler It was Committee consensus for Cousens to chair the meeting. Beehler reviewed how the City recruits members to boards and committees utilizing all communication platforms. The Committee reviewed applications for boards & committee vacancies and made the following recommendations: •' Arts Commission • Byers moved and White seconded to appoint Merivet Lombera to the community representative position and confirm the Capitol Theatre's appointment of Kathy Coffey. Motion carried unanimously. • Charter Civil Service • Byers moved and White seconded to confirm the Civil Service Commission's reappointment of Charlie Hines. Motion carried unanimously. • Community Review Board • Byers moved and White seconded to reappoint Judy Pozarich. Motion carried unanimously. • Lodging Tax Advisory Committee • Byers moved and White seconded to appoint Juliana Marroquin, Holiday Inn. Motion carried unanimously. • Parks & Recreation • Byers moved and White seconded to appoint Margarita Capetillo to the vacant youth position and reappoint Joshua Korevaar-Dorsey to the second youth position. Motion carried unanimously. • Planning Commission • Byers moved and Cousens seconded to appoint Mary Place. Motion carried unanimously.
