to the Community Services Division. This list is compiled through email requests, the CYPRIS
tracking application, public service calls in Spillman, and other requests.

From November 1 to November 24, 2019 YPD employees have made or attended 356 outreach
opportunities, ranging from meeting a community member in their neighborhood to attending an
event in the city.

Upcoming events include swearing in of Whitney Elementary's School Patrol Students on
November 26, Community Connections Musters on December 10 and 17, and First Responder
Friday at the Ponderosa on November 29 and December 27.
Recruiting efforts by Officer Hailie Meyers include assisting with a PT Tests of applicants at
Kumler Field. Officer Meyers has been in contact with multiple people via email and/or phone
who have questions about the hiring process. Officer Meyers attended a career fair at the Coast
Guard in Seattle on November 6 and a career fair at JBLM on November 7. She also presented
to students at Central Washington University on November 25.
