'WIPEREAS, Peterans Day is a day set aside to honor military veterans and is a
national holiday observed throughout the 'Limited States of America; and,
WHEREAS, the City of(Yakima wishes to recognize Peterans Day in a manner
which will encourage its citizens to focus on the commitment and sacrifice made by its
veterans;
NOW, tJPEcRJLYFOcRJE, I, Kathy Coffey, Uvlayor of the City of(Yakima and on
behalf of the (Yakima City Council, do hereby proclaim that on November 11th, 2019 and
on each November 11th thereafter the citizens of(Yakima, at the beginning of the 11th
hour,pause in their activities and cease talking fora period of one (1) minute, as a
means of honoring allveterans.
