license tax rate

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
On October 1, 2019, City Council directed staff to prepare legislation to amend the Yakima
Municipal Code to increase the License Tax on private garbage haulers from 16% to 25%. This
hearing is to gather public input to the ordinance change.
