ITEM TITLE: Set dates of November 5t and 19, 2i019, for public hearings on the
2020 Preliminary Budget for the City of Yakima

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Set date of November 5, 2019 for a public hearing on the 2020 Preliminary Budget for the City of
Yakima with a second public hearing on November 19, 2019. The purpose of the Public
Hearings is to accept input, comments, and/or questions from community members and other
affected parties regarding the proposed 2020 Budget.
*Note: Council business meetings are held in Council Chambers in City Hall; the business
meetings commence at 5:30 pm; however, the public hearings begin at 6.:00 p.m. or soon
thereafter. The 2020 Preliminary Budget was posted on the City's website on October 1, 2019.
