Meeting convened at 11:30 a.m.
Council present: Carmen Mendez, Kathy Coffey and Brad Hill
Staff present: Sonya Claar Tee, City Clerk
The Committee reviewed applications for boards & committee vacancies and made the
following recommendations by consensus:
• Bike/Ped reappointments: Phil Mattoon, Neil McClure, Paul Cook and Sue
Schoolcraft, Greenway rep
• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee reappointments: John Cooper and Sara
Davila
• Parks & Rec: Alec Regimbal
• Police & Fire Civil Service: confirm City Manager's reappointment of Camille
Becker
• Yakima Housing Authority reappointment: Nick Marquez
Hill recommended sending a notice to the Yakima School District Superintendent
regarding the youth vacancies on Parks & Rec and Community Integration Committee.
Claar Tee reported she will send a notice.
