ITEM TITLE: Council Public Safety Committee report

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The Committee met on August 1, 2019 and discussed the following:
1. Bring barking dog ordinance to Council.
2. Shopping cart ordinance.
3. Assistant Mayor Gutierrez requested to invite Yakima School District Board Chair Raymond
Navarro and newly appointed Superintendent Trevor Green to the study session on August
29, 2019 to further discuss safe routes to school.
