APRIL 2, 1981
ADJOURNED MEETING WITH YAKIMA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
The City Council met in session on this date at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctu-
ary Restaurant with the Yakima County Commissioners to discuss unre-
solved issues of the Urban Area Plan. Council members present were
Mayor Betty L. Edmondson, Lynn Buchanan, Lynn Carmichael, Shirley Doty
and Don Hinman. County Commissioners present were Charles Klarich,
Graham Tollefson and Jim Whiteside.
It was the general consensus that each entity provide the other with a
written policy statement of their issues by April 9 or 10, 1981. The
meeting founat was also discussed and it was agreed that minutes should
be taken by either the Yakima City Clerk or her Deputy. The Mayor and
County Commissioner Chairman will alternate as Chairman for these meet-
ings and possibly the Assistant Mayor and Vice Chairman of the County
Commissioners. Union Gap will be notified by the County each week about

agenda items for the following week's meeting and invited to attend any
meetings of interest.
The next meeting will be April 16, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary
Restaurant.
