SPECIAL MEETING - PERSONNEL INTERVIEW
January 7, 1983
The City Council met in session on this date at 11:00 a.m. in the '
Council Chambers at City Hall, Yakima, Washington for the purpose of
interviewing candidates for the City Employees Charter Civil Service
Commission. Council members present were Mayor Lynn Carmichael, Henry
Beauchamp, Lynn Buchanan, Shirley Doty and Jack Sparling. Council
members Clarence Barnett and W. K. "Pete" Moore absent and excused.
It was MOVED by Buchanan, seconded by Doty to go into Executive Session
II/ for the purpose of personnel interviewing. Unanimously carried by voice
vote. Barnett and Moore absent.
Upon the completion of the Executive Session, Mayor Carmichael announced
the appointment of Felipe Posada to the City Employees Charter Civil
Service Commission, to fill the vacancy left by Ronnie Cheatham.
There being no further business, the Mayor declared the meeting
adjourned at the hour of 12:00 Noon. Barnett and Moore absent.
