SPECIAL MEETING - JOINT MEETING WITH THE
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
The City Council net in session on this date at 11:30 a.m. at the Towne
Plaza, Yakima, Washington in a luncheon meeting with the Parks and
Recreation Commission. Council members present were Mayor Lynn
Carmichael, Clarence Barnett, Shirley Doty, and Jack Sparling. Council
member Lynn Buchanan present after 11:50 a.m. Council members Henry
Beauchamp and W. K. "Pete" Moore absent.
The Council held general discussion on various City matters relating to
parks and recreation issues. No formal action was taken.
II/ There being no further business to care before the Council, it was MOVED
by Sparling, seconded by Buchanan that this meeting be adjourned at the
hour of 1:15 p.m. Unanimously carried by voice vote. Beauchamp and
Moore absent.
