SUMMARY EXPLANATION
On August 26 and 27th, 2010 the City's Hearing Examiner submitted his written findings and
recommendations on this year's seven rezone applications and this was followed on
September 22, 2010 by the City Planning Commission formally adopting their written findings
and recommendations concerning the 2010 Urban Area Comprehensive Plan map amendment
applications Council is requested to set November 2, 2010 as the date for public hearings to
consider the Hearing Examiner's and Yakima Planning Commission's recommendations
