The Demolition work included selective saw cutting, removal of asphalt and concrete paving The site work included site clearing, earthwork, asphalt and concrete paving, irrigation system and landscaping The building construction included reinforced concrete foundations and floor slabs, wood stud exterior walls, glue laminated beams, prefabricated wood roof joists, wood stud interior walls and partitions, plywood decking and sheathing, modified bitumen roofing, and gypsum wallboard The interior included gypsum ® wallboard, painting of gypsum board walls and ceilings, miscellaneous painting, ceramic tile walls and floors, fiberglass reinforced panels, resilient flooring and base, carpet flooring, rubber sports flooring and acoustical ceiling panels Final contract amount shows 4 charge order increases as approved by City Manager Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted This Council action is to accept the project and approve the final construction costs Contractor Stephens & Sons Construction, Inc Contract Award 1/14/10 Contract Cost: $415,750 00 Final Contract Cost. $442,904 74 Amt.
