Re: Museum Board Liason
Dear Mayor Coffey:

REC IVED
CITY OF YAKIMA
The Yakima Valley Museum (Museum) Board of Trustees seeks to enhance partnerships and
communication with key elements of the broader community To initiate that effort, we extend
an invitation to the Yakima City Council to name a liaison to sit on the Museum's Board (except
in Executive Sessions) as an ex-oficio (non-voting member). We believe that a liaison's
participation in our monthly meetings would foster greater communication and awareness of
programs and projects of mutual interest to both the City and the Museum.
We hope that you and the Council will accept our offer. 1 look forward to hearing from you
soon. Should you have any questions, please contact me at my email monetjmr44 hotmail.com.
Sincerely yours,
Juana Rezaie, President
Board of Trustees
