For Meeting of: July 17, 2018 Project Completion and Contract Acceptance for Farmers Electric I I LLC - Project 2416 Rudkin Rd Lift Station improvements (Standard Motion V -B -Accept the project and approve) Scott Schafer - Director of Public Works Mike Price - Wastewater Manager - 509-249-6815 SUMMARY EXPLANATION: City Project 2416 provided for improvements to the Rudkin Rd Lift Station. The City contracted with Farmers Electric I I LLC for the additional lighting protection and automatic transferring capabilities to the Lift Station's existing electrical system. Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted. A final payment of $6,770.20 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Farmers Electric I I LLC for the completion of the necessary work on the City's Rudkin Rd Lift Station. Project Manager: Dana Kallevig Contractor: Farmers Electric I I LLC Contract Awarded: 9/27/2016 Contract Cost: $146,507.13 Retainage Due: $6,770.20 Fund: 476 The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs. City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
