Inc. - Project 2455 S. 40th Avenue & W. Chestnut Ave. (Standard
Motion V -B -Accept the project and approve)

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City Project 2455 provided new crosswalks with advance crossing warning signals at the
intersection of 40th Avenue & Chestnut Ave. The City contracted with Knobel's Electric, Inc. for
this project. Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project
be accepted. A final payment of $2,794.83 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Knobel's
Electric, Inc. for the completion of this safety project.
Project Manager: Bruce Floyd
Contractor: Knobel's Electric, Inc.
Contract Awarded: 9/22/2017
Contract Cost: $55,896.52
Retainage Due: $2,794.83
The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs.
City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
