Council Members Lover, Cousens and Alternate: A. Gutierrez
September 14, 2017 -- Mayor's Office
The meeting convened at 10:39 a.m.
Council present: Bill Lover, Holly Cousens and Avina Gutierrez (alt.)
Staff present: Sonya Claar Tee, City Clerk
1) The Committee received one application for the Historic Preservation Commission. MOTION:
Cousens moved and Gutierrez seconded to appoint Jacob Clay to the Historic Preservation
Commission. The motion carried by unanimous vote.
It was Committee consensus to only consider Planning Commission applications received in
2017 and to research other City's Planning Commission membership requirements. It was
Committee consensus to interview Nick Hughes, Luis Lopez and Bruce Benson for the
Planning Commission.
2} The Committee discussed having attendance requirements on the Henry Beauchamp Jr.
Advisory Committee. No action was taken.
3) Other Business -- none
The meeting adjourned at 11 a.m.
