The meeting convened at 11:15 a.m.
Council present: Bill Lover, Holly Cousens and Avina Gutierrez (alt.)
Staff present: Sonya Claar Tee, City Clerk
The Committee discussed the Tree Board applicants. MOTION: Cousens moved and Lover
seconded to recommend Jheri Ketchum for confirmation of the Arboretum position. The motion
carried by unanimous vote. It was Committee consensus to interview the remaining applicants.
City Clerk Claar Tee reported a vacancy on the Planning Commission, which was recently
advertised. It was Committee consensus to review applicants at the next meeting.
City Clerk Claar Tee noted there is one application for the HB Jr. Community Center that requires
approval from the OIC Board of Directors, which is meeting later today. It was Committee consensus
to recommend appointment of the individual if the OIC Board approves -
City Clerk Claar Tee reported there are no applications on file for the Board of Appeals that meet the
requirement of being a mechanical contractor or developer.
No other business.
